Mister Charleston Tourist Services is owned and operated by Chris H. Cannon, a lifelong Charlestonian who has been a registered licensed tour guide for over twenty-five years. Hundreds of thousands of visitors have enjoyed touring the Holy City and surrounding South Carolina Lowcountry with Chris.

We offer tour services for groups of all sizes, but we specialize in customized personal tours for individuals, couples, and small groups. Tours can be as minimal as two hour walking or driving tours of the historic district of downtown Charleston or as comprehensive as all day excursions including plantations, historic sites, forts, boat tours, beaches, recreation, ecology and nature, hiking, etc. You are offered numerous alternatives with explanations of each option available, then you decide what you would like to see and do. Changes can be made during excursions. There are no pre-set tours. We emphasize versatility. Multi-day itineraries can be arranged. Historic district tours can include interior tours of churches, museum houses, private homes, and other historic buildings when available (entrance fees are additional ).

All rates are strictly for personal escort and guide services. Any other fees and charges are to be paid by the customer, such as attraction fees, food and beverage expenses, licenses, permits, etc.
When group discounts are applicable the customer receives the entire discount. There may be negotiable fees for special services but there are no hidden fees. All special fees will be agreed upon ahead of time. The customer pays all deposits according to the terms of the service provider (charter busses, limousines, group restaurant reservations, etc.)
Life is full of special situations and circumstances and we stress versatility, therefore, all rates are negotiable. Seasonal discounts may be available. Discounts may be available for customers who provide their own transportation We will gladly provide coolers and ice.
Complimentary transportation may be available for groups of six or less.

Rates for personal guide and escort services

Ghost tours or Walking tours of Historic District	2 to 4 hours	more than 4 hours

Five to 10 persons	$45 per hour	$40 per hour
11 to 20 persons	$50 per hour	$45 per hour

Please note: Pursuant to City of Charleston ordinances, ghost tours and walking tours are limited to a maximum of 20 persons per group with one guide. Group tours are not allowed in residential areas between 6 PM and 9 AM

Seven to 20 persons	$55 per hour	$50 per hour
Over 20 persons	$60 per hour	$55 per hour
Step-on Bus Tours	$50 per hour	$45 per hour
